LENA Grow TM, a professional development program from the national nonprofit LENA, provides an innovative approach to increasing interactive talk in early childhood education and child care settings. Teachers receive research-based coaching sessions coupled with evidence-based feedback on talk in their classrooms from LENA’s “talk pedometer” technology. The result: teachers are supported in increasing the interactions that accelerate children’s language development and boost kindergarten readiness.
