In this hands-on training, you’ll discover easy, practical ways to turn everyday moments into fun learning experiences for children. You’ll leave feeling more confident, inspired, and ready to bring smiles, movement, and joy into your classroom.

Session 2: Keeping the Fun and Laughter Going – Sensory Development Strategies

This presentation gives an overview of the eight senses with emphasis on the relevance of sensory development to support of developmental domains. Included are hands-on activities and examples for classroom incorporation. Neurodiversity sensory supports also will be presented.

This training introduces common classroom pets and covers their basic care needs, including feeding, what you need for the habitat/enclosure, and safe, gentle handling in childcare settings.

Detecting and Preventing Fraud in Early Childhood Programs

This training helps early childhood professionals recognize common types of fraud, identify warning signs, and implement effective prevention strategies.

Learning Outcomes

Participants in all sessions will be exposed to new skills that can be applied in a variety of classroom situations. Each session will focus on its own distinct training topics and practical strategies.

All participants must complete the Learner Policies and Procedures Attestation Form prior to attending the training.
