J2K: Building Resiliency in Voluntary Prekindergarten

This instructor-led training is appropriate for administrators, directors, and teachers of VPK children. Participants will gain knowledge on the importance of resiliency and how to provide and support children during everyday activities as they explore and develop resiliency skills. 

Participants will:

Explore the available resources that support resiliency.

Gain knowledge of and explore the 11 resiliency characteristics and resiliency standards.

Discover how to support the development of resiliency skills in preschool aged children.

Participants will receive 2 in-service hours

*Participants will leave with a set of books with matching lesson plans for each activity discussed during training as well as VPK Graduation items.
